About Us

Shannon Veltre is the owner of Shanny the Nanny. Shannon has cared for children since she was 13 years old. She received her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development and opened her first home daycare with her sister, Brittany, in 2013.

In 2015, Shannon's family moved to their home in Churchill and she established her second home daycare in their basement, which was open until 2018. In November 2018, Shannon opened Shanny the Nanny Early Learning Center with only 3 classrooms. Brittany has continued to work with Shannon and is the Lead Infant Room teacher.

Today Shanny the Nanny currently has seven classrooms and 16 amazing teachers. Our teachers have Master, Bachelor's, and Associate's degrees in Early Childhood Education. Almost all of the teachers are mothers and have children or family members that attend the daycare.

 

We have teachers that have over 17 years of experience working in the daycare center field and love their career choice.
